Deutsch Home Inspection LLC draws on decades of hands-on professional and personal work in remodeling and home improvement, as well as training and continuing education.
While we recognize that experience as important, we also realize you don’t hire a home inspector to build or fix anything. If we can install cabinets or build a deck, but we don’t consider your priorities when you are looking at a home, then we are not bringing value.
Our first step is to listen to you; we strive to find out what you already understand about the home, your concerns, how you wish to be involved, your immediate plans. Then we apply a rigorous but flexible set of principles to the inspection. Our abstract problem-solving experience helps us make creative adaptations to the unique situations a home inspection can present. The report flows directly from the inspection and should clearly address all of the needs uncovered in step 1 (you know … the part where we listen to you).
While we always cover the Standards of Practice outlined by the state of Ohio (and InterNACHI) for home inspectors, we know that our job is to be helpful, not simply methodical. Every inspection is different and every client has a unique set of needs and expectations.
